Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you browse the Slipwash shop or place an order. They are written to be read, not skimmed with a magnifying glass.

Orders

When you place an order, you offer to buy the selected products at the shown price. An order becomes binding when Slipwash confirms it, for example by an order confirmation email, or when payment is completed at checkout — whichever happens first.

Slipwash may refuse an order where there is a good reason, such as a clear pricing error, suspected fraud, or a payment that cannot be completed. If we refuse an order you have already paid for, the payment is refunded.

Product information and availability

We do our best to describe and show products accurately. Product performance statements are based on the manufacturer's specifications and are reproduced as given. Colours and packaging may differ slightly from photos.

Products are offered while stocks last. If something is unavailable after you order, we will let you know and refund what you paid for it.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in euros. Shipping is free with no minimum spend — the cost of posting is already built into the price. Where sales tax (VAT) applies, it is handled at checkout in line with the shop's tax settings.

If an obvious pricing mistake occurs, we may correct it and give you the choice to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.

Payment

Payment is made through the checkout, which is run by Shopify and its payment partners. You pay using the methods offered there. Payment must be completed before an order is prepared and shipped.

Shipping and delivery times

Orders usually leave the warehouse within 1-3 working days and then take around 7-11 days in transit. You receive a tracking number by email once the parcel is on its way.

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — carriers and customs can cause delays. If a delivery takes much longer than expected, contact us and we will help. The risk for the product passes to you when you receive it.

Returns and the right of withdrawal

As a consumer you generally have 14 days after receiving your order to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason, and then another 14 days to return the product. The direct cost of returning the product is paid by you.

The full rules, the online cancellation form, and the refund conditions are on the Returns & Right of Withdrawal page. If there is ever a difference, that page states the returns terms that apply.

Refunds

Refunds are made within the period required by law and, where applicable, through the same payment method used for the purchase. If you withdraw from the entire order, Slipwash also refunds the original standard delivery costs as required by law.

The refund may be withheld until the returned goods are received, or until you provide proof that they have been sent back, whichever happens first. See the returns page for the complete refund terms.

Order cancellations

If your order has not been shipped yet, you can ask us to cancel it and we will cancel and refund it where reasonably possible. Once an order is on its way, the withdrawal procedure on the returns page applies instead.

Customer responsibilities when using the products

Slipwash products are cleaning chemicals and must be used with care. By using them you agree to:

  • Read and follow the instructions on the label before use.
  • Test on a small hidden area first, and keep the product off hot panels.
  • Not let the product dry on the surface, and rinse thoroughly.
  • Use it outdoors or in a ventilated space, and keep it away from children.
  • Use the product only for its intended purpose.

Damage caused by not following the instructions, or by using the product for something it is not meant for, is your responsibility.

Complaints and customer service

Something wrong with your order? Contact us first — most problems are quickest to solve directly. Describe the issue and include your order number if you have one.

Customer service

Postal address: [Add official postal address]

We aim to respond to complaints within a reasonable time. If we cannot solve it together, you may be able to submit the dispute to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform or a competent Dutch dispute body, where applicable.

Limitation of liability

Slipwash is liable for damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness, and for anything it cannot exclude under mandatory law — including product liability and your statutory consumer rights.

Where the law permits, Slipwash is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of profit or missed appointments, and its liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Intellectual property and website content

The Slipwash name, logo, texts, images, and design of this website belong to Slipwash or its licensors. You may view and share the shop for personal use, but you may not copy, republish, or reuse the content commercially without permission.

Changes to these terms

Slipwash may update these terms when the shop, the law, or its providers change. The version published on this page applies to orders placed while it is displayed. For orders already placed, a change will not reduce your rights unless the law requires it.

Applicable Dutch law

These terms and every order are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the law of the EU country where you live — nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

Disputes may be brought before the competent Dutch court, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring them before a court in your own country.

How your data is handled

Ordering involves personal data — your name, address, and payment information. How that data is collected, used, and protected is explained in the Privacy Policy.

This page is general information about the terms of buying from Slipwash. It does not guarantee legal compliance and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed and updated when the official business details or the shop's setup change.
